Dr. Joshua Visalli OD was born and raised in Utica, NY, where his passion for both academics and athletics began to flourish. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Utica College, graduating in 2014, before going on to get his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2018.
Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Visalli distinguished himself as a National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete, standing out as both a student and an athlete.
With six years of experience as an eye care specialist, Dr. Visalli specializes in a number of fields, but he’s particularly passionate about dry eye care and pediatrics, where he dedicates himself to providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Beyond the office, Dr. Visalli remains engaged in community and outreach initiatives, including being actively involved in his local church. He finds fulfillment in connecting with his community and contributing to its well-being beyond the walls of his practice. Dr. Visalli is an avid sports fan when it comes to watching football and Formula 1 races. He also enjoys exercising, including running and weight lifting.
Dr. Visalli shares a love for travel and adventure with his wife Meghan, especially vacations to Cape Cod and other beach destinations. As a foodie, he loves to cook and explore local restaurants. Dr. Visalli and Meghan have two dogs, Thor, a Golden Retriever, and Roxy, a Pit Mix, who accompany them on their adventures.
