Finding the Right Contact Lenses for You

Our eye care team has years of experience finding the right contact lenses for each patient that comes through our clinic doors.

The process starts with a thorough eye exam. Our optometrists will assess your vision and eye health, determining if contact lenses are suitable for you. This exam includes measuring your eyes to understand their unique dimensions, curvature, and tear film, which are essential for proper lens fit.

Assessing Your Needs

Next, you'll discuss your lifestyle and vision needs with your optometrist. Whether you have an active lifestyle, need correction for astigmatism, or desire daily disposables, this conversation helps narrow down the options. The optometrist will consider lens materials and designs that match your eye health and preferences, offering recommendations that align with your needs.

After that, our team will begin the fitting process, providing trial lenses to assess comfort and vision. You'll likely try different brands or lens types during this phase to find the best option.

Checking Back In

A follow-up appointment ensures the lenses fit well and don't cause discomfort or issues. Adjustments can be made if necessary, and you'll receive training on lens care and proper wear.

Daily Disposable Contact Lenses

Daily disposable lenses are designed for single-day use, providing maximum convenience and hygiene. They eliminate the need for cleaning, making them perfect for those with active lifestyles or allergies.

Each day, you start fresh with a new pair, reducing the risk of infections and offering excellent comfort, especially for individuals with sensitive eyes.

Bifocal and Multifocal Contacts for Presbyopia

Bifocal and multifocal lenses are designed to address presbyopia, a condition where near vision diminishes with age.

These lenses combine multiple prescriptions in a single pair of glasses, allowing wearers to see clearly at various distances without the need for separate reading glasses.

Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses

Rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses offer a durable and oxygen-permeable alternative to soft lenses. Their rigid structure ensures they maintain their shape on the eye, providing sharp vision and correcting a wide range of refractive errors, including astigmatism.

Unlike soft lenses, RGP lenses are easier to handle and less prone to tearing, offering long-term cost savings. They require a brief adaptation period, but once accustomed, wearers often find them comfortable for extended wear. RGP lenses can be custom-designed for complex prescriptions, ensuring personalized vision correction that suits individual needs.
